Cherry Jublee
Make plain sheet cake
- 1 can sour red cherries
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp almond flavoring
- few drops red coloring
- 2 Tbsp corn starch
- 1/2 cup cold water
Bring cherries, sugar, almond flavoring, and red coloring to a boil.
Pour corn starch and water into mixture.
Cool slightly and pour over cake.
